welcome to our blog
This is my first blog ever!!! We have been waiting for Lily for almost two and a half years and are finally getting closer. China referred 10 days of LIDs in June and we are now 16 days away from our LID date. That means a possible referral in August or September and travel to China in the Fall!! Yah!!! I will use this blog to keep everyone updated on our journey.

It will be nice once we get a new addition to the Aucoin/ MacDonald family. September would be a nice month to go after the summer vacation.

The Journey to Lily touched my heart. The MacDonald family has not journeyed alone - we all wait with great anticipation for Lily's arrival. The Journey has felt very long but I am certain that the time, the place, and the gift of Lily herself will come together at the very time that was meant to be. I'm waiting anxiously for Mother China to reach out and say that it is time to bring Lily home to her family!
