A day of discoveries
I want to thank everyone for your nice comments. It makes us feel closer to home. We had a busy day today. We had to return to the adoption agency and sign all the paperwork. Lily is officially part of the MacDonald clan! She is such a pet and a joy to get to know. She cuddled right into me when she woke up this morning. We discovered that she can crawl very well and stands up in her crib no problem. We tried new foods today and she doesn't seem too fussy. This afternoon she had her first bath as you can see she had alot of fun(so did I). All the families in our group have been blessed with healthy and happy girls. All the babies slept well last night(lily did 12 hours) and the parents are all very calm and happy. Hope everyone is well and getting ready for Halloween. We have 30 degrees today!!!! I didn't bring any shorts!!!! Have a great week everyone.

Francine and Paula,
She is too cute!!! The door to a world of discoveries has been opened and so far from her expression on the pictures, we believe that she's saying "let the fun begin!!" We are all blessed with Lily coming into our lives!! Every time we read and look at the blog, there's smiles, tears of joy, just a "wack" of emotions!!
Looking forward to more updates!!
We miss ya.......can't have you home soon enough, especially you Lily!!! (and you too Paula!!)
Luv.....Jules, Chloe, Maggie and Stuart!!
ooohhhh so cute! We could 'eat' her face off! ( a Newfoundland saying) Lily seems to have a dynamic personality and will fitin with the MacDonald and Aucoin family with ease. Incredible she is crawling and standing up. Let the games begin! Hannah had a chance to talk to big sister Isabel yesterday. Hannah told me she is a proud big sister. Have a great day and phew...the paper work is done.
Sorry ot hear about the shorts as we wake up in the dark these days and it is chilly. LOL
Hi to Paula. I love waking up to the blog and the crying I do before I go to work. ;)

Cutie! And that second picture, what a ham!!Thanks for sharing, we're getting to know her too! and she's warm and open to new things... just like a true MacDonald/Aucoin she has a sense of adventure! look at that twinkle in her eyes! Gathering around the computer in the morning is our new family ritual and prayer...hope you, Paula and Lily can feel all the love sent your way! Enjoy the discoveries and getting to know each other...we'll be here again tomorrow morning!
Cheer,
Mariette

She is beautiful. Such a gift. She looks so content and ready to enjoy life. She must play hard and sleep lots (12 hours wow)!!
Take care and travel safe

The pictures are great. Pierre and Katey really like to see their new cousin, Lily, on the computer.
By the looks of today's pictures, Lily has no problem getting used to Maman and Aunt Paula. Enjoy every single moment you have with her.
Although I know you have a busy schedule, I am sure you will be able to enjoy your adventure a lot more now that Lily is official a MacDonald (and part Aucoin too).
Take care.

What a little doll you have on your hands! And 12 hours of sleep? Wow. She looks so happy and content, obviously well taken care of which is such a blessing.
