Hello from the Far East

Paula and I are having a great first day in China. After breakfast, we met up with two other families and went for a walk to a park. It is quite an experience to walk around the streets of China. People are very interested in us, especially the youth. They are very nice and friendly. We had a meeting at 3:00pm with Smiley, our guide to prepare for the big day tomorrow. I think we are all ready!!! Tonight, we are meeting for a group supper. Well, it is 4:45pm, but my body is registering 4:45am and I would love a nap, but I will tough if out and sleep well tonight. I am including a few pictures of our hotel and our journey so far. Enjoy.

Francine:
The pics look great and you two don't look like you were traveling for 35 hours straight. Isabel misses you a lot and Sam too. Were off to Chester for Hockey and Isa to Line's place. Enjoy your well deserved sleep and we will call you tomorrow @ 7:30. Love the family

We have tears in our eyes just looking at these pictures! We can't believe tomorrow is the big day! Imagine the tears then?! Smiley is just the right name of a person for such a job. We look forward to checking in the next time and seeing the new MacDonald addition. Hugs and prayers from us all.

WOW! It is almost that time. We are thinkning and praying for you daily. Lily will not know what 'hit' her that lucky little angel. ;) We looked at her picture tonight and Anthony said "aawwww...she is too adorable mom! My Lily"

Sending you and Paula good energy....and postive thoughts. Enjoy the 1st cuddle with your daughter. Growing a baby in your heart is a very very powerful thing. Enjoy falling in love with your baby girl. All the best to Bernie and Jules keeping the famlies up and running while you are both on this important journey.

Missing....and happy for you all.
