It is 7;30pm and we have had a long day on the road. We left at 8:00am for the airport, took a 10:20am flight to Beijing and finally arrived at our new hotel at 3:30pm. Lily slept on me most of the morning but woke up and was very busy in the plane. The 13 hour flight should be interesting on Thursday.We had to meet before supper for another meeting, so I just stayed in tonight to unpack and put the munchin down. Paula and a few people went to a dumpling restaurant, Beijing has so much to see. We are going to the Great Wall tomorrow. I am really excited. Well, I must go prep for tomorrow. I included a cute picture of Paula when we left the hotel this morning. I don't know if she knew what she was getting herself into coming to China!!! I also have a picture of Lily and I with Smile. We were sad to say goodbye to him today. We get another guide for the Beijing part of our trip. And as you can see in the last shot, Lily is making herself confortable in the new hotel. She is such a pet!!! I hope that no one has belly aches from too much candy.

Paula you look like a sherpa! Good support, in so many ways! Francine, Lucas will be happy to hear you are going to the Great Wall..I told him you may not have time and he said" but she's in China!" Good to know you're always getting closer to home. Looking over all the pictures of Lily, I don't think you could have had a better little girl even if you had ordered her!! I think she'll fit in the clan perfectly. Enjoy tomorrow, Thursday will be here in a flash...hang on a little longer Bernie, Isa and Sam!
